AI-Augmented Software Engineer / AI Dev Tools Lead

Let's Get an MVP Ready- This is not a "prompt engineer" role. You're a full-stack engineer who happens to be exceptional at working with autonomous coding agents. You write real code. You also make sure the code the AI writes is actually production-ready. --- What You'll Do AI Dev Tool Orchestration · Operate and manage AI coding tools daily — Cursor, Claude Code, Devin, Aider, GitHub Copilot, and whatever's next · Design and maintain prompting strategies, context structures, and review pipelines that maximize quality output · Evaluate new tools as they emerge and recommend what earns a place in our stack · Ensure all AI-generated code is owned outright by DatumSynq — no vendor lock-in, no IP ambiguity Hands-On Engineering · Build frontend features in Next.js / React / Tailwind CSS / shadcn/ui · Build and maintain backend services in Node.js (TypeScript) and Python FastAPI · Work with PostgreSQL, Redis, and S3-compatible storage · Contribute to smart contract development workflows (Solidity, Hardhat, OpenZeppelin) with AI tooling assistance Quality & Standards · Review, validate, and refactor AI-generated code before it goes anywhere near production · Write tests. Maintain CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions. Keep documentation current. · Collaborate with the CTO on architecture decisions and code reviews · Maintain security-conscious development standards across OAuth2/JWT, encryption, and KYC/KYB-adjacent systems Required · 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience — you've shipped real products · Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants beyond Copilot: Cursor, Devin, Claude Code, Aider, Continue.dev, or similar autonomous agents · Strong TypeScript / Node.js skills; solid Python · Comfortable with Git, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD fundamentals · Security-minded — you understand OAuth2, JWT, input validation, and why these things matter · Startup-ready: high ownership, comfortable with ambiguity, fast iteration without cutting corners Strong Plus · Blockchain / Web3 experience: Solidity, Hardhat, Ethereum, Polygon · Familiarity with KYC/KYB-adjacent systems, compliance workflows, or fintech infrastructure · Experience with AI/ML integrations (Llama/Mistral, Whisper, XGBoost/LightGBM) · You've worked on an API-first SaaS product at an early-stage company Location · Remote-first. Must be available and responsive during US time zones (PST preferred, EST fine).
