## AI QA Automation Engineer — Build an AI-Powered Software Testing Workflow We are looking for an experienced **AI QA Automation Engineer / AI Testing Engineer** to help us design and implement an AI-assisted testing workflow for our software development team. ### Our Goal We already have an existing QA team and manual testing process. We want to introduce AI and automation to significantly improve QA productivity, test coverage, and testing speed. The goal is NOT simply to write Selenium/Playwright scripts. We want someone who can help us build a practical workflow where **AI assists our QA team throughout the testing process**. For example: **Feature / Requirement** → AI understands the requirements → AI identifies affected/existing features → AI generates or updates test cases → Automated tests are generated/executed → Results, screenshots, logs and failures are collected → AI analyzes failures → QA reviews/validates the results → Bugs/regressions are reported clearly ### What We Want to Automate We are interested in areas such as: * AI-generated test cases from feature requirements * Automatic identification of regression areas * Web UI testing * API testing * End-to-end testing * Automated regression testing * AI-assisted exploratory testing * Test data generation * Screenshot / visual validation * Failure analysis using logs, screenshots and responses * Automatic bug report generation * Test reporting and dashboards * Integration into our development workflow / CI/CD We are open to using existing tools/frameworks instead of building everything from scratch. Possible technologies may include: * Playwright * Selenium * Cypress * Appium * Postman / API testing frameworks * GitHub Actions / CI/CD * LLM APIs such as OpenAI / Claude * AI testing platforms or agent-based testing tools We are not fixed on a specific technology stack. We want the engineer to recommend the simplest practical solution. ### Important We do **not** want an over-engineered enterprise testing platform. Our priority is to build a practical system that our existing QA team can actually use every day. The system should help our QA team: 1. Test new features faster 2. Generate better test coverage 3. Reduce repetitive manual testing 4. Automatically run regression tests 5. Detect failures and regressions earlier 6. Understand failures faster 7. Maintain test cases more efficiently Human QA should remain part of the workflow. AI and automation should assist the QA team rather than blindly deciding whether a feature is correct. ### First Project The selected engineer will first review our current development and QA workflow. You should then propose a simple AI-assisted testing architecture and implement a working version against one of our existing systems. We prefer to start small, prove that the workflow improves QA productivity, and expand it only if it works well. ### Ideal Candidate You should have strong experience with: * QA automation * Playwright / Selenium / Cypress or similar * API testing * CI/CD testing workflows * LLM / AI integration * Test case design * Regression testing * Debugging frontend/backend failures Experience building **AI agents or LLM-powered QA/testing workflows** is highly preferred. ### When Applying Please do not send a generic QA automation proposal. We are looking for someone who can **design the workflow and implement it**, not just advise us on AI testing.
