AutoCAD 2D Drawings to 3D

I have several well-organized 2D DWG files that now need to live as a fully navigable 3D model inside AutoCAD. Every line in the existing drawings should translate cleanly into accurate geometry with correct layers, clean solids (not surfaces), and ready for sectioning or rendering once complete...
