Chrome Extension & Browser Automation Developer (Puppeteer / Browserbase / Nest.js)

Description: We're FastApply, a live product with paying users that automates job applications across major applicant tracking systems including Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, iCIMS and Ashby. We're looking for a developer to own our Chrome extension and the automation layer behind it. What you'd work on: Building and maintaining our Chrome extension: manifest configuration, service workers, content scripts, messaging and permissions Background automation workflows using Browserbase, Stagehand, Puppeteer and similar headless browser tooling Backend services and APIs supporting the extension, mainly in Nest.js with TypeScript Form filling and submission automation across the ATS platforms we support, and adding new ones Diagnosing and fixing automation failures when platforms change their forms or selectors Tests, logging and monitoring good enough to catch failures in production What we need: Real Chrome Extension development experience, Manifest V3 Puppeteer or Playwright in production, not just scripts Nest.js or strong Node and TypeScript Someone who can debug a broken automation on a live site rather than only build new ones Comfortable owning a system end to end and documenting it This is an existing product, not a greenfield build. You'd be improving and maintaining systems that real users depend on daily. Hours: 9am to 5pm your local time if you're in Asia, with a required overlap window of 9am to 1pm West Africa Time for check-ins and code review.
