Experience Level: Mid-Level / Senior Budget: $2,000–$4,000 USD per project Location: Remote Engagement: Contract / Long-Term Opportunity Client Location: Florida, USA About the Role We're looking for a talented and experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our network of developers supporting a US-based client in Florida. This isn't just about writing code. We need someone who understands software engineering fundamentals, can make sound technical decisions, and communicates naturally and confidently with clients and team members. You'll contribute to modern web applications, backend services, API development, and AI-related functionality across different projects. Our goal is to find a dependable engineer who can become a long-term technical partner rather than someone available for only a single assignment. Who We're Looking For You should have at least 4 years of commercial software development experience and be comfortable working across both backend and frontend technologies. Core Technical Skills Python: Strong hands-on experience with Django and FastAPI. JavaScript / TypeScript: Excellent understanding of modern JavaScript and TypeScript development. Frontend: Proven experience building production applications with React and Next.js. Databases: Practical knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar systems. API Development: Experience designing, building, integrating, and maintaining REST APIs. AI Integration: Working knowledge of LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and integrating AI capabilities into applications. Engineering Practices: Strong debugging skills, Git workflows, code quality, testing, and maintainable application architecture. We don't expect you to be an expert in every technology, but you should have a strong command of the primary stack and be able to contribute with minimal supervision. English Communication — Mandatory Native-level English proficiency is a strict requirement for this position. You'll be communicating directly with US-based stakeholders, so excellent spoken and written English is essential. We expect candidates to be able to: Speak English naturally, fluently, and confidently. Participate in technical meetings without communication barriers. Clearly explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Discuss requirements, ask relevant questions, and provide thoughtful recommendations. Write clear technical documentation and project updates. Native or near-native (C2-level) English proficiency is required. Candidates should also be comfortable with regular communication during US Eastern Time business hours.
