Full Stack AI Developer

We are hiring an experienced Full Stack AI Developer with a passion for AI to build MVPs for our AI-powered web apps end-to-end: frontend, backend, database, AI integrations, deployment, and everything in between. IMPORTANT: #1: This is a long-term, ongoing position. We can start part-time (e.g., 3-4 hours per day), but we're looking for a full-time commitment within 3-6 weeks of you starting. #2: This is a fully remote position. We don't have a physical office or HQ. Slack, ClickUp, and Notion are our "HQ". #3: This is a web apps only role (SaaS-style apps, internal tools, AI pipelines, customer-facing MVPs). No native apps for iOS, Android, Windows, or macOS. #4: Independent developers only. No agencies. #5: This is a speed-first role. You must be super, super fast with development and implementation, and super time efficient. Leverage existing frameworks, boilerplates, templates, and AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) for rapid development and deployment. We ship MVPs in days, not months. You will own the full build of each MVP — from a spec or prototype to a working, tested, and deployed web app on a live URL. Your main objective is simple: ship working AI-powered MVPs fast, and keep improving them fast. You will work with and report directly to the CEO and the founder. ABOUT OUR COMPANY We help business owners, founders, and entrepreneurs leverage AI to grow their businesses and profit faster. We offer low-ticket digital products (e.g., Plugins, Extensions, Mini Apps), info products, in-depth online courses, and a subscription-based membership. This role is focused on our AI-powered web apps: the tools we use internally and the apps we sell to and share with our customers. Some already run as local prototypes and need to become hosted, multi-user products; others start from a spec. TECH STACK What we use, or expect you to be fluent in: Frontend: React (Vite, Next.js), TypeScript, Tailwind CSS Backend: Node.js, REST APIs, webhooks, serverless/cloud functions, background jobs for long-running tasks Databases: PostgreSQL (e.g., Supabase), Firebase, file storage AI: Claude API, OpenAI API, OpenRouter, model routing and cost tracking, multi-step agentic pipelines, structured outputs Integrations: Stripe, Meta Graph API, email service APIs, third-party APIs Deployment: GitHub, Vercel/Netlify, Google Cloud, custom domains, SSL, env variables and secrets KPIs AND MEASURES OF SUCCESS If hired, your measures of success will be: Speed to Ship: Time from approved spec to a working, deployed MVP on a live URL. Measured in days. Iteration Speed: Time from a feature request or bug report to a deployed fix. Measured in hours. Reliability: Apps work flawlessly for real users. Failed AI calls, payments, or jobs are surfaced and retried, never leaving the app broken. AI Cost Efficiency: Model spend per user action stays within budget through smart model routing and caching. Code Quality: Clean repos, clear setup docs, and reusable components that make the next MVP faster than the last. RESPONSIBILITIES Your core responsibilities will be: Building AI-powered web app MVPs end-to-end: frontend, backend, database, AI integrations, and deployment. Turning working local prototypes into hosted, multi-user apps with authentication, workspaces, and a shared database. Integrating the latest AI models and APIs (Claude, OpenAI, OpenRouter, etc.) into multi-step pipelines with per-task model routing and cost accounting. Integrating third-party services (e.g., Stripe, Meta Graph API, email platforms) with webhooks and background jobs. Deploying apps to production on live URLs with custom domains, SSL, and secrets handled correctly. Fixing bugs, improving performance, and shipping improvements fast based on user feedback and data. Coordinating with our marketing, content, and technical team members to prioritize and ship features. REQUIREMENTS What we need from you: Superb English communication skills, both in written and spoken form. Superb, proven experience building and deploying AI-powered web apps end-to-end, in production, with real users. Super, super fast development and implementation. Super time efficient. Super up-to-date with the latest AI models, APIs, and frameworks (Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, OpenRouter, agent frameworks, structured outputs, tool use, etc.). Superb mastery of both frontend and backend: file systems, GitHub, IDEs, databases, cloud functions, serverless functions, API integrations, webhooks, authentication, and deployment. Superb experience with Stripe and third-party API integrations. Superb debugging skills. You find and fix deployment, API, and data issues fast without hand-holding. Ability to manage multiple builds in parallel and work with multiple team members. Great prioritization and time management skills.
