Junior Developer for API Integrations — AI-native, long term

I run a small B2B software company (one person, first hire). The product is an enterprise AI platform used by mid-sized companies. You would be employee number one. The work, two halves. Integrations and setup: connecting customer systems to our platform through their APIs — Microsoft 365, HR systems, CRMs, ERPs, project tools. Building new connectors as new customers arrive. Some work on the platform itself to keep it clean as we take on more customers. Customer setup and support: being the person customers talk to day to day. Answering questions, walking people through the product, chasing issues down, checking fixes actually work before telling anyone they do. How the work is done, and this is the important part. I built this entire platform myself using AI coding tools, with no formal development background. You will work the same way. Your job is not to write code from a blank page — it is to direct an AI coding agent well and then verify its output rigorously. That second part is the actual skill. The rule here is that nothing is done because a test passed, or because the AI said so, or because a build went green. Something is done when you have seen it work, live, with your own eyes, in the running system. If that sounds obvious to you, we will get on well. This is a junior role and I am not expecting seniority. You already use AI coding tools daily and are good at it. Comfortable with APIs, JSON, webhooks, Git, and reading documentation you have never seen before. Genuinely careful — sceptical of your own work, the sort of person who checks twice. Excellent written and spoken English, because you will be on calls with British and American executives; this is a hard requirement, not a preference. Curious about business — how companies make money, how leaders decide things — because the product models exactly that. Working hours with good overlap with European time, and some flexibility for US afternoon calls. Full time, remote, long term for the right person. The role grows as the company does.
