Mid-Level Laravel Developer — Insurance Comparison & Insurer Integrations (Remote)

We are looking for a reliable Mid-Level Laravel Developer with accounting system experience to join our project. We need someone who genuinely cares about writing clean, maintainable code and knows how to build solid Back-end systems. What we need you to bring: - Around 2+ years of real experience with PHP and Laravel. - Hands-on experience integrating third-party APIs in production, ideally in insurance, fintech, travel, or other comparison or quoting products. - Proven experience with browser automation (e.g., Playwright, Puppeteer, Selenium, or Laravel Dusk/Symfony Panther). You know how to handle logins and sessions, dynamic JavaScript pages, waits and timeouts, and you can build scrapers that don’t break every time a page changes. - Good MySQL knowledge and solid OOP principles. - Experience handling background tasks (Laravel queues and jobs). - Git for version control. - We also expect you to use AI tools to code faster and smarter—we embrace it, we don't hide it. Bonus points if you know: - Filament, Livewire, or Alpine.js (huge plus). - PHPUnit for automated testing. - Previous work in the insurance sector, or familiarity with Spanish insurance data standards (EIAC/TIREA) or multi-quoter platforms.
