Next.js & Node.js Developer Needed for API Rate Limiting and Caching Optimization

We are seeking an experienced full-stack developer specializing in Next.js and Node.js to review and optimize our backend API architecture. We are currently experiencing latency issues when handling high-frequency requests from our Next.js frontend to our Node.js/Express backend services. Key Responsibilities: Analyze current API response times and identify database query bottlenecks. Implement Redis caching layers for frequently accessed data endpoints. Configure proper rate-limiting middleware on our Node.js API routes to secure endpoints against abuse. Verify clean data flow between the Next.js app router and the backend server. Requirements: Strong proficiency in Next.js, Node.js, Express, and Redis. Prior experience with API performance tuning and latency reduction. Ability to deliver a clean technical implementation and summary documentation.
