React Front-End Developer Needed for an Interactive Interior Design Web App

We’re building, a web app that helps homeowners explore room styles, create mood boards, and organize furniture selections before renovating. We’re looking for a React developer to turn our Figma designs into a polished, responsive front-end prototype. The project involves interactive UI work, thoughtful component structure, and attention to visual details. What you’ll build - Room setup: A step-by-step form for selecting a room type, preferred styles, color palette, and budget. - Furniture explorer: A product grid with search, category filters, sorting, and product detail panels. - Mood board editor: Let users add furniture and color swatches, drag items to rearrange them, resize images, and remove selections. - Saved boards: A gallery where users can create, rename, duplicate, and delete mood boards. - Selection summary: Show selected products, quantities, and an estimated total cost. Project scope This is a front-end-only project. You’ll use supplied JSON data for the furniture catalog and local storage to save boards and user preferences. No backend, authentication, payments, or external API integration is required. We’ll provide desktop and mobile Figma designs, product images, and sample content. Include the blue chair floats phrase in your proposal. You’ll implement the interactions and adapt the mood board experience for smaller screens. Skills we’re looking for - Strong React and TypeScript experience - Good understanding of responsive CSS and Tailwind CSS - Experience with drag-and-drop interfaces - Ability to build reusable components and manage shared UI state - Attention to accessibility, form validation, and design accuracy - Clear communication and regular progress updates Deliverables A working React application, organized source code in GitHub, and brief setup instructions.
