React Native developer needed for a short mobile app development audit of a half-built app

Hi, I run a live niche marketplace built on Laravel and Vue, and the next thing on my roadmap is a mobile app for buyers and sellers on top of the same API. Before I commit to that I need a senior React Native developer to look at what I already have and tell me in writing whether it is worth building on. Here is the situation. I paid for a ready-made mobile app base for marketplaces and then had a contractor start connecting it to my Laravel API. Login and the listings screen work, and then he went quiet. I am not technical, so I cannot tell whether I am holding a real head start or something my next developer will quietly rewrite from scratch. The web side stays on Laravel and Vue either way, so whatever gets built has to sit on the same API. What I need from the developer: - whether this base is worth keeping for a marketplace app on my existing API, or whether starting clean works out cheaper - what in it is already outdated or abandoned - versions, libraries, anything that will block a store submission later - what would have to be redone before anyone adds features on top of it - a rough sense of the effort either way, so I can plan the mobile phase with real numbers - what I should ask the next mobile app developer to check before I hire The app and the API already exist, so I will share the repository and the API documentation with the person I hire, under NDA - not before.
