Senior Full-Stack Developer — Instant Quote & Booking Platform

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Developer to help build a modern property-based instant-quote and booking platform. The platform will allow customers to enter a property address, retrieve and analyse property and parcel data, estimate relevant property/surface measurements, generate a real-time quote, and either Book Now or Request Review depending on quote confidence and business rules. This is a complex product build involving geospatial data, property intelligence, pricing automation, payments, scheduling, CRM integrations, secure file handling, and AI. We’re looking for someone who can think beyond individual features and help build a reliable, scalable, production-ready platform. What You’ll Build The platform will include: - Address search, validation and geocoding - Property and parcel data retrieval - Property/surface measurement and geometry - Automated quote generation - Configurable pricing rules and pricing engine - Confidence scoring and exception handling - Customer booking and scheduling - Stripe deposits and payment receipts - Secure photo uploads and before/after workflows - CRM integration - Admin dashboard for pricing, bookings, customers and exceptions - AI-powered customer assistant with human escalation - Role-based access and audit logging - Staging and production environments with CI/CD Required Technical Skills Frontend - React / Next.js - TypeScript - Modern responsive web application development Backend - Node.js or Python - NestJS / Express or Django / FastAPI - REST and/or GraphQL API design - Strong experience designing scalable backend systems Database & Geospatial - PostgreSQL - PostGIS - Experience working with geospatial data, parcel boundaries and geometry Cloud / DevOps - AWS, GCP or Azure CI/CD - Docker and environment management - Staging + production deployment - Monitoring and logging Property & Geospatial Data Experience working with property and geospatial data is highly preferred. You should be comfortable integrating: - Google Maps, Mapbox or SmartyStreets for address search and standardisation - County/property-appraiser data sources - Adapter-based integrations that can support multiple county data providers - Roof/surface measurement providers such as EagleView, Nearmap or Zesty.ai - Geometry/footprint-based fallbacks when third-party measurement data isn't available Pricing & Business Logic A core component of the platform will be a robust, testable pricing engine. You’ll be responsible for building: - Configurable pricing rules - Admin-editable pricing tables - Rule versioning - Quote calculation logic - Confidence scoring - Exception handling - Book Now vs. Request Review routing - Automated testing for pricing and business-critical calculations The goal is to make pricing rules configurable and maintainable without requiring a developer for every business-rule change. Payments, Scheduling & CRM Experience with the following is required or strongly preferred: - Stripe — deposits, payment processing and receipts - Calendar and availability systems - Capacity-aware scheduling - HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive or a lightweight custom CRM - Secure customer photo uploads using S3 or equivalent storage - Before/after photo workflows AI Integration The platform will include an AI-powered assistant. You should have experience with: - OpenAI or Claude APIs - RAG-based / knowledge-grounded LLM applications - Prompt and response orchestration - Grounding AI responses in approved business and platform data - Human escalation and fallback workflows - Secure AI/data handling This is not intended to be a generic chatbot. The assistant needs to operate within defined business knowledge, rules and workflows. Security & Quality Security and reliability are important because the platform will handle customer, property and payment-related information.
