Senior Node.js/Python Developer: Build B2A Micro-SaaS API with x402 Micropayments & MCP Manifest

I am seeking an experienced backend engineer to build and deploy a modular Business-to-Agent (B2A) Micro-SaaS API. The API serves structured, real-time local inventory and public data from the Research Triangle, NC area directly to autonomous AI agents via crypto micropayments on the Base network. Key Technical Requirements: Core Data Scrapers / Connectors: Build resilient, automated scrapers/connectors (Playwright, Puppeteer, or BeautifulSoup) for 15 targets. Targets will be shared upon hiring. Modular Architecture: Design a plug-and-play connector architecture so additional regional target scrapers can be added via simple configuration plugins without refactoring core server logic. x402 Protocol Integration: Implement the open-source x402 (HTTP 402 Payment Required) middleware (@x402/express or @x402/hono) on all endpoints: Requests without payment proof must return an HTTP 402 status code with payment instructions. Requests verified with a $0.003 USDC transaction on the Base network instantly unlock clean JSON responses. Environment variables must route micropayments directly to my provided receiving wallet address. Agent Discovery Specs: Generate valid openapi.json and Model Context Protocol (MCP) server manifest (mcp.json) files hosted at /.well-known/ for automatic discovery by AI frameworks (Claude, AutoGPT, LangChain). Deployment & Handover: Host the production server on Render with environment variables configured, and provide a test client script to verify on-chain payments. Required Qualifications: Strong proficiency in Node.js (Express/Hono) or Python (FastAPI). Web scraping expertise (Playwright, Puppeteer, proxy handling).
