Senior React + UI/UX Engineer: Revamp 5 Pages in 5 Days ($5,000 Fixed)

Only apply if you're extremely fast and deeply senior in React: 5+ years shipping production React apps, real UI/UX design skills, and a fast Claude Code workflow. $5,000 fixed for 5 days. You'll work directly with the founder. ABOUT US Established B2B SaaS company: attendance and check-in software used by universities, government teams, and pro sports organizations. THE JOB Revamp the UI and UX of 5 pages in our existing, live React app, one page per day, on a dedicated branch. Each morning you get that day's list for the page (up to 20 small items or 3–4 big ones from our backlog), and the whole list ships that day. The APIs already exist, so this is front end only. Lists won't spec every pixel: you'll work backwards from the UX and make sound design calls yourself. New ideas beyond the list go to v2. STACK Today: React on Webpack with direct Axios calls. You'll migrate the build to Vite and introduce TanStack Query and Zustand, adopting them page by page. SCHEDULE - Day 1: Codebase walkthrough, Vite migration, page 1 - Days 2–5: Pages 2–5 - Then: Review call and polish, which closes v1 V2 follows as a separate paid project for whoever nails v1. MUST HAVE - 5+ years of production React, plus a portfolio showing UI/UX you designed - A fast, proven Claude Code workflow - Webpack-to-Vite migration experience - Production TanStack Query and Zustand experience, including adding them to existing codebases - Strong architecture, component, and interaction skills - You work independently from limited specs, without micromanagement DONE MEANS - One PR for the migration and one per page - App runs on Vite in dev and prod, with no regressions anywhere - TanStack Query and Zustand follow one documented pattern across all 5 pages - Every list item works against our API - Consistent, responsive UI with loading, empty, and error states - Reusable components, and the build passes with zero errors or lint warnings - Review feedback addressed PAYMENT Five $1,000 milestones, one per approved page PR. Review fixes are due before the final milestone is released.
