WooCommerce Developer – Troubleshooting & Maintenance

We are looking for an experienced WooCommerce / WordPress developer to provide short- to medium-term technical support for an existing WooCommerce store. Our primary WooCommerce developer is temporarily unavailable, and we are currently in the process of transitioning from WooCommerce to Shopify. In the meantime, we need someone who can step into our existing WooCommerce environment, quickly understand the setup, and take ownership of troubleshooting and resolving issues as they come up. This is not a new build, redesign, or migration project. We need someone who is comfortable working with an existing WooCommerce installation, its plugins, integrations, and custom configurations. What You'll Be Working On We currently need support with: - Troubleshooting WooCommerce orders and subscription-related issues - Investigating order processing, duplication, and synchronization problems - Troubleshooting existing API, webhook, and third-party integrations - Maintaining and troubleshooting our WooCommerce → Keap/Infusionsoft → ShipStation / QuickBooks workflow - Reviewing WooCommerce and plugin updates and safely applying necessary updates - Improving order fulfillment and shipping visibility - Reviewing and configuring WooCommerce shipping rates, methods, and international shipping - General WooCommerce troubleshooting, maintenance, and issue resolution during the transition to Shopify We have a number of existing issues that need attention, and we will provide the relevant details and examples to the selected developer. Ideal Experience We are looking for someone with strong hands-on experience with: - WooCommerce - WordPress / PHP - WooCommerce Subscriptions - WooCommerce troubleshooting and debugging - API / webhook integrations - Keap / Infusionsoft - ShipStation - QuickBooks integrations - WooCommerce shipping configuration What We Need From You We are looking for someone who can jump in and get to work, diagnose problems independently, identify root causes, and implement fixes without needing step-by-step direction. Clear communication is important. We need someone who can explain what they found, what they changed, and flag any risks or issues that require our attention. Engagement This is a short- to medium-term, as-needed engagement while our primary developer is unavailable and we complete our transition to Shopify. The workload will be issue-based and may vary depending on what comes up during the transition.
