WordPress Developer & Systems Integration Specialist

We are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer & Systems Integration Specialist to build, maintain, and optimize complex websites while managing forms, API integrations, automations, and internal business systems. The ideal candidate is highly technical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across website development, workflow automation, and system administration. We need someone who can troubleshoot complex website issues, connect different platforms, improve existing workflows, and ensure our digital systems run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires hands-on experience with complex WordPress websites, advanced forms, API connections, and third-party integrations—not just basic website design. Responsibilities 1. WordPress Development & Website Management Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, including complex pages, functionalities, and workflows. Build responsive, user-friendly pages using Elementor, Gutenberg, or other WordPress page builders. Customize themes and plugins and troubleshoot technical issues using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL. Optimize website speed, performance, security, and overall functionality. Manage website updates, backups, hosting configurations, and ongoing maintenance. 2. Forms, APIs & Systems Integration Build, configure, and maintain advanced forms using tools such as Jotform and other form-building platforms. Connect forms to Google Sheets, CRMs, and other internal systems through APIs and automation tools. Develop and troubleshoot API integrations, webhooks, and automated data flows. Ensure accurate data transfer between platforms and resolve integration errors. Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency. 3. Automations & Workflow Management Build and maintain workflows using tools such as Zapier, Make, or similar automation platforms. Automate lead capture, data processing, notifications, and follow-up processes. Test, monitor, and troubleshoot existing automations to ensure reliability. 4. Marketing, Analytics & SEO Configure and troubleshoot Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, tracking pixels, and conversion tracking. Support website SEO, technical optimization, and performance improvements. Assist with landing pages, marketing integrations, and basic graphic design requests. 5. Google Workspace & Technical Support Manage Google Workspace settings, users, permissions, and configurations. Support the setup and troubleshooting of internal business tools. Document integrations, workflows, and technical processes when needed. Requirements Proven experience developing and maintaining WordPress websites, including complex websites with custom functionality. Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL. Experience with WordPress themes, plugins, Elementor, Gutenberg, or similar page builders. Demonstrated experience building advanced forms and connecting them to external platforms. Hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and third-party system integrations. Experience with workflow automation tools such as Zapier or Make. Familiarity with Google Sheets integrations and Google Workspace administration. Knowledge of website performance optimization, caching, security, and technical SEO. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently while meeting deadlines. Availability to work 30 hours per week and begin work early in the morning. Preferred Qualifications Experience with multilingual WordPress websites and plugins such as WPML or Polylang. Familiarity with Git and version control. Experience integrating WordPress with CRMs, marketing platforms, and other business applications. Experience managing hosting environments, domains, DNS, and website migrations.
