WordPress Specialist

We are seeking an experienced WordPress Specialist with experience in the IT industry. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing modern websites, maintaining WordPress platforms, creating wireframes, and delivering exceptional UI/UX. You will play a key role in shaping visually compelling and user-friendly websites while ensuring optimal performance, responsiveness, and functionality. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites with a focus on clean, modern, and engaging UI/UX. • Manage and optimize WordPress websites including plugin/theme updates, troubleshooting, and performance improvements. • Create wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups to communicate ideas and workflows. • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (basic knowledge preferred). • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions aligned with brand guidelines. • Implement SEO best practices in design and structure to improve site visibility. • Ensure websites are mobile-first, cross-browser compatible, and optimized for performance. • Provide technical support and enhancements for existing websites. Required Skills & Qualifications: • 6+ years of experience in IT industry with a strong focus on web design and WordPress development. • Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles. • Proven experience in WordPress site management – themes, plugins, customizations, and troubleshooting. • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, wireframing, and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar). • Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility, accessibility standards, and SEO-friendly design. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. Nice-to-Have: • Basic knowledge of JavaScript, PHP, or MySQL. • Experience working with website performance optimization tools (GTmetrix, PageSpeed Insights, etc.). • Familiarity with graphic design tools (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
