AI Automation Engineer | n8n, Make.com, AI Agents, OpenAI & API Integrations

We are an IT services company looking for an experienced AI Automation Engineer / AI Developer to join our team for ongoing client projects. We work on different types of AI automation, business workflow integrations, AI agents, chatbots, and custom AI-powered applications. We need someone who can understand client requirements, suggest the right technical approach, and independently build reliable automation solutions. This is a long-term opportunity for the right freelancer, with multiple projects available. What You'll Work On - Build AI automation workflows using n8n, Make.com, Zapier, and custom scripts. - Develop AI agents and chatbots using OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, and LLM APIs. - Integrate CRMs, including HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Salesforce, and other platforms. - Automate email processing, lead generation, customer support, data extraction, and business operations. - Build AI-powered assistants using RAG, vector databases, and document knowledge bases. - Integrate third-party APIs, webhooks, databases, and SaaS platforms. - Develop custom automation solutions using Python, Node.js, and JavaScript. - Work with Google Workspace, Airtable, Slack, Shopify, and other business tools. - Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain existing automation workflows. - Build AI-powered SaaS features and backend integrations when required. Required Skills - Strong hands-on experience with n8n, Make.com, or Zapier. - Experience integrating OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or similar AI models. - Good understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, and OAuth. - Experience with Python, JavaScript, or Node.js. - Experience building AI agents, chatbots, and automated workflows. - Ability to work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Supabase. - Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. - Ability to understand business requirements and deliver complete solutions. - Good written English and clear communication. Bonus Skills - LangChain, LangGraph, RAG, embeddings, and vector databases. - MCP integrations and AI agent orchestration. - Voice AI agents using Vapi, Retell AI, or Twilio. - CRM automation and lead generation systems. - React, Next.js, and full-stack SaaS development. - AWS, Docker, and cloud deployment. - AI-assisted development using Cursor, Claude Code, or similar tools. What We're Looking For We prefer someone who has already built real automation systems for businesses, not someone who has only completed tutorials. You should be comfortable working independently, handling multiple integrations, debugging failed workflows, and delivering production-ready solutions.
