Company: A1 Media Marketing (Dallas, TX, fully remote team) Type: Full-time, long-term, one person (no agencies, no subcontracting) Pay: $1,800 USD/month, plus a paid Claude subscription we provide for your work. Pay review at 90 days. Hours: 9 AM-7 PM US Central, Monday-Saturday Language: Fluent English, written and spoken. Calls happen on camera. Start: Immediately. We have client builds and deadlines this month. WHO WE ARE A1 Media Marketing builds agentic marketing systems for service businesses: the CRM, landing pages, ads and AI agents that bring in and follow up with leads, with people approving everything before it goes out. We need one engineer who can build the system for each new client and keep the AI agents running: hands-on in GoHighLevel and in code. WHAT YOU'LL OWN 1. One-time client builds (about 50%) You own every build from the moment a client pays to the day it's handed over. The Project Manager handles the client (onboarding form, kickoff call, sign-off); you handle the build. - Set up each client's GoHighLevel sub-account from our snapshot: pipelines, workflows, calendars, forms, A2P registration, and email and phone setup - Build landing pages and funnels (GHL funnels, WordPress or hand-written HTML) - Set up Meta ad campaigns by our launch checklist: paused until approved, then checked after they go live - Connect domains, DNS, tracking and forms, and test everything on mobile - Move each build through our pipeline (Building, then Client Review, then Handover) and post progress in the client's Slack thread - Hand over with a short how-to guide so the client can run it themselves 2. AI agents and the build automation (about 35%) - Wire and improve our AI agents: research, scripts, hooks, thumbnails, editing briefs and performance reports - Improve the tool that auto-builds client CRMs, so each build takes less manual work - Write and tune prompts, enforce structured JSON output, validate it, and retry on failure - Work mostly with Claude (Claude Code / the claude CLI) in Node.js 3. Keeping things running (about 15%) - Node.js services on a Linux server: Slack bots, scheduled jobs, client portals - APIs: GoHighLevel, Meta Marketing API, Slack, ClickUp, Google, Stripe - When something breaks, you find it and fix it before a client notices MUST-HAVES - Hands-on GoHighLevel experience. You've built sub-accounts, workflows, pipelines, calendars and funnels for real clients. Snapshots and A2P are a plus - 2+ years of Node.js / JavaScript. Most of our code is plain Node (ES modules), without heavy frameworks - You've shipped real LLM features with Claude or GPT: structured outputs, prompt design, and handling bad model responses. A chatbot demo isn't enough - Landing pages: you can build a fast, clean page that converts, in GHL, WordPress or HTML - Comfortable on a Linux server: SSH, systemd, logs, and debugging a service that won't start - Git for everything. No editing code directly on a live server - Careful with live systems. You write up a change before you make it, test it first, and flag your own mistakes right away - You finish things. A build isn't done until it's tested, handed over and signed off - Reliable internet, power backup, a quiet workspace, and a working camera and mic NICE-TO-HAVES - Meta Ads Manager experience (campaign setup, pixels and conversions) - Claude Code, agent orchestration, or multi-step AI workflows - Agency experience, juggling several client builds at once HOW WE WORK - Slack for communication (one thread per client build), ClickUp for tasks, Google Drive for files, GitHub/git for code - A daily written update: what you shipped, what's next, and what's blocked - Changes to anything live (client CRMs, ads, sites, servers) are proposed in writing and approved before they happen - We don't use pay-per-token API keys for automations. AI runs through our Claude subscription or as plain scripts. You'll learn this setup in week one YOUR FIRST 90 DAYS - First 30 days: run your first client builds end to end with the Project Manager, and get one client's AI agents live - By 60 days: you run every new build, and each one takes less manual work than the last - By 90 days: agents running for every active client, and you own upkeep of our bots and servers HOW TO APPLY Applications that skip any of these steps won't be reviewed. 1. Start your application with the words "Paid to Handover" so we know you read the whole post. 2. Record a Loom video under 5 minutes that covers: - A GoHighLevel account you built for a client: share your screen and walk through the pipeline, workflows and funnel - An LLM feature you built and shipped: show the code and explain how you handle bad model output 3. Answer the screening questions, and share 2-3 GHL builds or landing pages (live links or screenshots), plus a GitHub profile or code samples. 4. Confirm you can work 9 AM-7 PM US Central, Monday-Saturday, at $1,800/month, as one person with no subcontracting.
