Title: AI Engineer Needed to Build AI Agent MVP for Drug Repurposing Platform I am building an AI-agent platform that helps identify drug repurposing opportunities for rare diseases. The MVP will allow a user to enter a rare disease name, then generate a structured research report using biomedical literature and public drug discovery databases. Project goal: Build a working prototype that can search biomedical sources, extract disease-related genes/pathways/drugs, identify possible repurposed drug candidates, rank the evidence, and generate a downloadable report. Responsibilities: Build AI agents using LLMs and RAG Connect to public biomedical databases such as PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov, PubChem, ChEMBL, UniProt, or OpenTargets Create a disease-to-gene-to-pathway-to-drug workflow Build an evidence-ranking system to reduce hallucinations Generate structured research reports Deploy a simple web app or dashboard Set up cloud deployment, preferably on AWS Required skills: Python LLM APIs or open-source LLMs RAG pipelines Vector databases AI agent frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or LlamaIndex API integrations Basic full-stack development Preferred experience: Bioinformatics Computational biology Drug discovery Knowledge graphs Scientific/medical research tools Please apply with examples of AI agent, RAG, knowledge graph, or biomedical AI projects you have built.
