AI Automation Engineer Job Overview We are looking for an AI Automation Engineer to design, build, and deploy AI-powered automation solutions that streamline business processes. You will work with large language models (LLMs), AI agents, workflow automation platforms, APIs, and cloud services to create intelligent systems that improve operational efficiency. Responsibilities Design and develop AI-powered automation workflows. Build AI agents using platforms like Vapi, Retell AI, OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini. Integrate third-party APIs and SaaS applications. Develop backend services using Python, Node.js, or JavaScript. Automate business processes using tools such as n8n, Make.com, Zapier, or LangGraph. Build conversational AI and voice agents. Connect AI systems with databases, CRMs, EHR/EMR systems, and cloud platforms. Deploy and maintain AI applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Monitor AI workflows for reliability, scalability, and performance. Troubleshoot automation issues and optimize existing solutions. Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver AI solutions. Required Skills Strong knowledge of Python or JavaScript/TypeScript. Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Gemini, or similar LLMs. Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar frameworks. Knowledge of REST APIs and webhooks. Experience with automation tools like n8n, Make.com, Zapier, or Pipedream. Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases. Experience with Docker and Git. Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills Experience building AI voice agents using Vapi, Bland AI, Retell AI, or Twilio. Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, or Chroma. Knowledge of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation). Experience with healthcare, finance, or enterprise AI applications. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 2–5+ years of software development experience. Experience building production-ready AI applications is preferred. Nice to Have Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol). Knowledge of prompt engineering and AI evaluation. Experience fine-tuning or optimizing LLM applications. Experience working with multi-agent AI systems.
