AI / MCP Integration Developer – Connect ChatGPT/Codex with QuickBooks, Pipedrive & RazorSync

## AI / MCP Integration Developer for Business Software Automation We are a growing commercial HVAC maintenance and service company looking for an experienced developer to build an AI integration layer connecting **ChatGPT/Codex with our core business software**. ### Phase 1 Systems The initial project will focus on integrating: * **Pipedrive** – CRM and sales pipeline * **RazorSync** – customers, locations, scheduling, work orders, technicians, and field service * **QuickBooks Online** – accounting, invoices, payments, A/R, and financial reporting ### What We Want to Build The goal is to allow ChatGPT/Codex to securely access and analyze data across these systems. We want to be able to ask natural-language questions such as: * What customers have overdue invoices? * Which customers are overdue for preventive maintenance? * Which sales opportunities need follow-up? * What is our current sales pipeline? * What are our revenue and A/R numbers? * Which work orders are incomplete or overdue? * Which customers generate the most revenue? * What problems require management attention today? We eventually want ChatGPT/Codex to perform **approved actions**, including: * Creating/updating customers * Creating work orders * Updating CRM deals * Creating follow-up tasks * Scheduling work * Triggering cross-system workflows ### Automation Example When a **Pipedrive deal is marked WON**, the system could: Pipedrive → Create/update customer and locations in RazorSync → Create onboarding/work-order tasks → Map customer to QuickBooks → Schedule future maintenance. ### Technical Skills We're Looking For Strong experience with: * MCP (Model Context Protocol) * OpenAI / ChatGPT / Codex integrations * REST APIs * Webhooks * OAuth 2.0 and API authentication * QuickBooks Online API * Pipedrive API * Python and/or Node.js * Databases and data synchronization * Error handling and logging * Duplicate-record prevention * Secure permissions and approval workflows **Experience with the RazorSync API is a major plus.** ### Future Scope If Phase 1 is successful, we plan to integrate additional systems, including ActiveCampaign, Estimate Rocket, Gmail, Google Drive/Dropbox, Homebase, RingCentral, Zapier, Notion, and potentially other business applications. Our long-term goal is to create an **AI operations/management layer** that can monitor sales, operations, accounting, customer activity, technician performance, and other KPIs across the company. ### Ownership & Security We require full ownership/control of: * Source code * GitHub repository * Hosting/infrastructure * Database * API credentials * MCP server * Technical documentation Security and data integrity are extremely important because the system will eventually interact with accounting and customer data. ### When Applying Please include: 1. How you would handle authentication, security, and permissions. 5. How you would prevent duplicate records and synchronization errors. 6. Your estimated timeline for Phase 1. 7. We are specifically looking for someone experienced in production API integrations, MCP, business-system automation, and secure data synchronization. This can become an **ongoing development relationship** if Phase 1 is successful.
