Amazon SP-API + Shopify Automation Specialist – over 10,000 SKUs – $500 Fixed – 2-Day Deadline
We are looking for an experienced Amazon Seller Central / SP-API specialist to update and expand our Amazon catalog.
We have approximately 10,000 products in Shopify with an existing SEO product catalog. Many products are already listed on Amazon, while others may be missing.
The immediate goal is to correctly synchronize our Shopify catalog with Amazon, update pricing and shipping, and add products that are not yet listed.
Our broader business goal is to grow Amazon toward 200+ orders per day, so the work needs to be accurate, scalable, and reusable.
PROJECT SCOPE
1. Compare Shopify With Amazon
Compare our approximately 10,000 Shopify products against our existing Amazon Seller Central catalog.
For every SKU, determine:
* Already listed on Amazon
* Missing from Amazon
* Correct ASIN/SKU match
* Duplicate or potential duplicate
* Listing/variation problems
* Current Amazon status
Do not create duplicate listings.
2. Update Existing Amazon Prices
For products already on Amazon:
* Update prices according to our current pricing/catalog data
* Use bulk feeds, Amazon SP-API, scripts, or other scalable methods
* Verify that prices were successfully processed by Amazon
* Identify and correct pricing errors
We do NOT want someone manually editing thousands of listings one at a time.
3. Add Missing Products to Amazon
For products in Shopify that are not yet properly listed on Amazon, create the required Amazon listings.
Use our existing Shopify/SEO catalog as the source wherever appropriate.
Listings may include:
* SKU
* Product title
* Brand
* Price
* Description
* Bullet points
* Product images
* Dimensions
* Variations / parent-child relationships
* Search terms / keywords
* Correct Amazon product type/category
* Required Amazon attributes
The freelancer must understand Amazon listing requirements and correctly handle Amazon validation errors, missing attributes, variation problems, and other listing issues.
4. Amazon Shipping Templates
Our Amazon shipping should work as closely as possible to our existing Shopify shipping structure.
You will:
* Review our Shopify shipping setup
* Review our Amazon shipping templates
* Create/update the necessary Amazon shipping templates
* Assign the correct products to the correct templates
* Verify shipping charges
* Make sure products are not accidentally receiving free or underpriced shipping
This is particularly important because our products can have very different sizes and shipping costs.
5. Error Checking & QA
After processing the catalog, check Amazon for:
* Processing/feed errors
* Suppressed listings
* Inactive listings
* Missing attributes
* Incorrect prices
* Duplicate listings
* Variation errors
* Shipping-template errors
Errors caused by your implementation must be corrected before the project is considered complete.
6. Final Report
At completion, provide a CSV/XLSX report covering the processed catalog and showing, where applicable:
* Shopify SKU
* Amazon SKU
* ASIN
* Listing status
* Old price
* New price
* Shipping template
* New/existing listing
* Errors/issues
* Final result
Any scripts, automation, mappings, or source code developed for this project must also be delivered to us so the process can be reused.
AUTOMATION / AI EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
Because this is a large catalog with a short deadline, we strongly prefer someone who works efficiently with automation.
Experience with the following is highly desirable:
* Amazon SP-API
* Python / TypeScript / Node.js
* Shopify API
* Amazon feeds / bulk files
* CSV/XLSX processing
* Cursor
* Claude Code
* ChatGPT
* Other AI-assisted development tools
Using Cursor or another AI coding tool is encouraged if it helps you complete the project faster.
However, AI experience does not replace Amazon expertise. You must personally understand Amazon Seller Central/SP-API well enough to verify generated code and troubleshoot Amazon errors.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Please apply only if you have experience with:
* Amazon Seller Central
* Amazon SP-API and/or large-scale Amazon feeds
* Shopify
* Large product catalogs
* SKU/ASIN matching
* Amazon listing creation
* Parent/child variations
* Amazon shipping templates
* Bulk price updates
* Amazon listing/feed error resolution
Experience managing catalogs with 5,000+ SKUs is strongly preferred.
IMPORTANT – DATA SAFETY
Before making large-scale changes, create/export an appropriate backup of the existing Amazon catalog/configuration.
Do not make uncontrolled bulk changes without first validating your process.
You should first demonstrate your process on a small representative sample before applying it to the complete catalog.
DEADLINE
Start immediately.
Target completion: 2 days.
Please do not apply if you cannot dedicate significant time to this project immediately.
BUDGET & PAYMENT
Fixed Price: $500
This is a results-based fixed-price project.
There are no partial-completion payments.
The agreed $500 payment will be released after the complete project has been delivered according to the agreed requirements and the results have been verified.
The project is NOT considered complete simply because files were uploaded or API requests were submitted.
The job is considered complete when:
* Shopify and Amazon catalogs have been compared
* Existing listings have been correctly matched
* Required prices have been updated
* Eligible missing products have been submitted/created correctly
* Unnecessary duplicate listings have been avoided
* Shipping templates have been correctly configured and assigned
* Bulk/API processing results have been checked
* Errors caused by the implementation have been corrected
* Final catalog/status report has been delivered
* Scripts/source code created for the project have been delivered
Amazon-controlled issues that cannot reasonably be resolved within the project must be clearly documented in the final report.
If you are not comfortable with a $500 fixed-price, completed-deliverable arrangement, please do not apply.
HOW TO APPLY
Do NOT send a generic proposal.
Start your application with:
AMAZON 10K CATALOG
Then answer:
1. How many Amazon catalogs with 5,000+ SKUs have you worked with?
2. Describe your Amazon SP-API experience.
3. How would you compare 10,000 Shopify SKUs against our Amazon catalog without creating duplicates?
4. How would you update thousands of Amazon prices efficiently?
5. How would you identify which Shopify products need new Amazon listings?
6. Have you configured Amazon shipping templates for products with different sizes and shipping costs?
7. Which programming/automation tools do you use?
8. Do you use Cursor, Claude Code, ChatGPT, or similar AI coding tools? How?
9. Can you start immediately?
10. Can you dedicate the next 2 days to this project?
11. What access will you need from us?
Please include examples/screenshots of previous large Amazon catalog projects if available.
We are looking for an executor, not a consultant.
If you have the Amazon SP-API, Shopify, automation, and large-catalog experience required to complete this quickly and correctly, we want to hear from you.
