Automate photograph and text duplication in a Word file on a Mac operating system.

I currently write reports using Microsoft word. The process of inserting and sizing photos is time consuming. I would like them to be automatically inserted into the correct part of a template and re-sized. Text has to be repeated in two places. It would also be good if there was a function to do this.
