Autonomous Robotic System for Vehicle Inspection

I am exploring the development of a new autonomous robotic system for inspecting exterior surfaces of stationary vehicles. This is for a Phase 1 feasibility and conceptual-design project only. Our objective is to work with an experienced robotics/mechatronics engineer to determine the most practical and economical architecture for a proof-of-concept using commercially available/off-the-shelf components rather than designing expensive custom hardware from scratch.
