Build a Simple AI Customer Support Chatbot for Our Website

We are looking for an AI chatbot / automation freelancer to set up a simple AI chatbot on our website that answers common customer questions 24/7 and captures leads when a human is needed. This is a small, clearly scoped starter project. If it goes well, we plan to expand it to WhatsApp and email in a follow-up project. Scope of Work • Website Chat Widget: Add an AI chatbot to our website (any reliable platform is fine, e.g. Chatbase, Voiceflow, Tidio AI, Botpress, or a simple n8n + OpenAI/Claude setup). • FAQ Knowledge Base: Train the bot on our existing content (website pages, FAQ document, shipping/returns policy, and product list — we will provide everything). • Brand Voice: Set up a friendly, on-brand tone with a short greeting and suggested quick-reply questions. • Lead Capture & Handoff: If the bot cannot answer or the customer wants a person, collect their name, email/phone, and question, then send it to us by email or into a Google Sheet. • Testing & Handover: Test with 15–20 real customer questions, fix wrong answers, and share a short Loom video showing how to update the bot’s content ourselves. Deliverables • A working AI chatbot live on our website. • Lead notifications going to our email or Google Sheet. • Admin access to the chatbot account (set up under our login). •A 5–10 minute walkthrough video. Out of Scope (Possible Phase 2) • WhatsApp Business API and email channel integration. • Unified omnichannel inbox and shared customer memory across channels. • Live order tracking, CRM or order database integrations. • Abandoned cart follow-ups, dynamic promo codes and re-engagement campaigns. Budget & Timeline • Budget: $100 fixed price. • Timeline: Delivered within 5–7 days. • Tools: Free or low-cost plans preferred; any paid platform subscription will be billed to our account and must be agreed before setup. Requirements • Has set up at least 2–3 AI chatbots on websites before. • Comfortable with no-code chatbot builders or n8n. • Clear communication in English and available for a quick kickoff call.
