Build a Simple AI-Powered PDF Summarizer Web App

We are looking for a developer to build a lightweight AI-powered web application that allows users to upload PDF documents and generate concise, useful summaries. This is a small MVP project with a clearly defined scope. We are looking for a functional application rather than a complex SaaS platform. Core Features Upload PDF documents through a simple, responsive interface. Extract readable text from uploaded PDFs. Generate summaries using an LLM API. Allow users to choose between short and detailed summaries. Display the generated summary in a clean, readable format. Provide an option to copy the summary. Handle invalid files, empty documents, and API errors gracefully. Preferred Technology Stack Next.js, TypeScript, and an appropriate PDF parsing library. OpenAI-compatible APIs or another suitable LLM provider can be used. We can discuss the most practical implementation based on the budget. Deliverables Complete working web application. Source code in a Git repository. Basic setup instructions and environment variable documentation. Testing of the main upload and summarization flow. Budget: $80 fixed-price.
