Claude Architect (freelance, remote, full-time hours)

We're Third Republic and AI Republic, specialist Salesforce and AI recruitment firms with teams in London, New York and Denver. We're making Claude the operating system our recruitment consultants work through every day, and we've already built a lot in-house. We want a certified Claude architect who has done this before at another organisation, and who still builds. You'll set the architecture and standards for how we use Claude across the business, then build the core of it alongside our developers. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Design how Claude, skills, agents and MCP servers fit together across the business - Build the hardest parts yourself: MCP servers, multi-step agents, skills and system integrations - Set the standards for how skills are built, tested, versioned and released - Own access and governance, so the right people get the right capabilities - Choose models and keep cost and quality in check - Write specs our developers can build from, and review their work WHAT YOU'LL BRING - Claude Certified Architect (Professional preferred, Foundations at minimum) - A Claude rollout across a whole organisation: licences, skills, connectors, governance and adoption - Production agentic systems shipped with Claude Code, the Agent SDK, the API and MCP, including MCP servers you built - Strong engineering foundations: Python or TypeScript, REST APIs, Git, hosting and monitoring - Judgement on when a rule belongs in code rather than a prompt, and how to test agents properly - Clear written English NICE TO HAVE - Recruitment, staffing or CRM experience - Sales and outbound tooling, data enrichment or telephony APIs - Working hours that overlap with both London and New York THE ENGAGEMENT Freelance contract, about 40 hours a week, remote, with a daily overlap with UK hours.
