We are an IT services company seeking to automate our twice-monthly sales commission process. We currently handle this manually using spreadsheets and QuickBooks Desktop. Resolved items trigger targeted reprocessing, then a final full-period validation before approval. 4. Outputs per run: commission workbook with audit trail, per-rep summaries, Commission Master update, QuickBooks Posting Sheet (approved totals by rep), payment status check, pre-payroll change-detection report. 5. QuickBooks boundary — data enters via file exports only (no direct SDK integration initially). The automation never modifies source accounting records. Our controller manually posts the final approved commission bills. 6.
