Developer for an Interactive Children’s Learning Platform

We’re looking for an experienced developer to build a polished, responsive web platform for a six-session, story-led children’s wellbeing course. The project is in discovery; scope and milestones will be agreed before development. Budget: $3,000–$5,000 USD, fixed price, with agreed milestones. USER FLOW • A parent creates an account and sets up a child profile. • The child follows guided sessions containing illustrated scenes, narration, short videos and simple interactive activities. • Choices trigger predefined feedback and return to the main journey. • Progress is saved so families can pause, resume and revisit completed content. • Parents access supporting resources and a simple progress overview. SCOPE • Turn supplied content, visual references and agreed requirements into a coherent interactive experience. • Build reusable scene and activity components rather than bespoke logic for every screen. • Implement parent authentication, child profiles, session progression, saved progress and media playback. • Provide a lightweight admin area for managing access and viewing agreed usage data. • Deliver responsive layouts, accessible controls, reliable performance, deployment and documented handover. • Integrate supplied media. Original animation production, live AI conversations and payment processing are outside the initial scope. WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR • Proven experience building interactive learning platforms, games or rich web experiences. • Experience with Three.js, Phaser, PixiJS or a comparable approach. Explain what you would use and why; 3D is not a requirement. • Strong visual taste, attention to pacing and an understanding of how children and parents will use the product. • Ability to interpret narrative and learning intent, identify missing requirements and propose sensible solutions. • Comfortable working with structured content, reusable components and clear milestones.
