Experienced Full-Stack Developer Needed to Debug & Prepare Existing Replit App for Beta

Project Overview I’m the founder of an early-stage technology startup seeking an experienced full-stack developer to help stabilize and prepare an existing application for private beta testing. The application has already been substantially developed using Replit, with core features and user interfaces in place. This is NOT a project to build a new application from scratch. I’m looking for a developer who can assess the existing codebase, diagnose outstanding technical issues, implement targeted fixes, and help get the application into the hands of real beta testers. Primary Responsibilities * Conduct a technical audit of the existing Replit application. * Identify and prioritize bugs affecting core functionality. * Troubleshoot database persistence, authentication, and user-specific data issues. * Diagnose third-party API and link-import issues. * Verify that existing features function correctly across different users and devices. * Resolve agreed-upon beta-blocking defects without unnecessarily rebuilding working features. * Assist with beta deployment readiness and provide clear technical documentation. Ideal Candidate * Strong full-stack development experience, particularly with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Node.js or comparable technologies. * Experience troubleshooting and maintaining existing applications. * Familiarity with Replit-hosted projects. * Experience with database integrations, authentication, APIs, and debugging. * Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to a nontechnical founder. * Prior experience supporting early-stage startups or beta launches is preferred. Project Structure & Budget This is a fixed-price, milestone-based opportunity with an advertised project budget of $1,200. The initial engagement will be a paid technical audit, targeted at approximately $200–$300. Additional development milestones will be negotiated based on the audit findings and agreed-upon priorities. The objective is a reliable private beta, not a fully polished commercial launch. The total scope will be determined based on what can realistically be accomplished within budget. Application Requirements Please include: 1.
