PROJECT DESCRIPTION: I have an existing Wix website that is currently in the middle of a complete rebuild. The content, photographs, branding, colors, and general direction already exist. Several draft pages have been created but are not yet live. I am not looking for someone to create an entirely new website, rewrite all of my messaging, develop a new brand, or sell me additional marketing services. I need a highly skilled Wix designer with a strong visual eye to take over the existing rebuild, correct the problems, and finish the entire website. The current drafts contain significant layout and responsiveness problems. Elements extend beyond the browser window, content is cut off, spacing and fonts are inconsistent, some links are underlined when they should not be, and the mobile layouts need to be professionally designed. The website needs to feel polished, cohesive, contemporary, visually engaging, and easy to navigate. The existing content and general page sequences should be retained wherever possible. I need someone who can improve the execution without unnecessarily discarding the work that has already been completed. COMPLETE WEBSITE SCOPE: The selected designer will be responsible for: Reviewing every existing page and draft page. Identifying what can remain and what needs to be reconstructed. Completing all unfinished pages. Correcting the global page-width and horizontal-overflow problems. Correcting the global header, navigation, and footer. Making the entire website visually consistent. Creating properly responsive desktop, laptop, tablet, and mobile layouts. Correcting typography, spacing, alignment, image placement, buttons, and links. Removing unwanted underlining from navigation links, text links, and buttons. Ensuring no text, images, menus, or other elements are cut off. Keeping important content within the proper Wix gridlines and responsive containers. Adding subtle scroll-triggered fade-in effects similar to those used on notaperson.org. Testing every page, button, and link before completion. The exact page links and unpublished Wix draft links will be provided to qualified candidates. EXAMPLES OF THE EXISTING PROBLEMS: The following two pages demonstrate many of the problems that appear throughout the website. These are examples and do not represent the complete scope of the project. EXAMPLE 1: HOME PAGE Header and Navigation The complete logo and navigation are not visible at common browser widths. The header extends beyond the visitor’s screen. The navigation must be reconstructed within the proper Wix grid. Unwanted underlining must be removed. A clean and functional mobile menu must be created. Hero Section Retain the existing photograph, headline, branding colors, and primary button. Correct the headline placement and responsive sizing. Make sure the photograph crops properly across different screen sizes. Keep the text readable over the photograph. Correct the button size and placement. Add a restrained entrance or fade-in effect. “What Begins to Change” Section Retain the existing ideas and messaging. Rebuild the content in properly contained responsive columns. Give each statement consistent spacing and alignment. Stack the statements cleanly on mobile. Miracle Makers Community Section Retain the existing images, copy, book image, and call to action. Improve the balance between the imagery and copy. Correct the text width, spacing, and alignment. Make the call-to-action button consistent with the rest of the website. Create a clean mobile layout. Three Primary Services The three areas are: Coaching with Mark Keynote Speaking Build The HUB Required corrections: Rebuild the three choices inside properly contained responsive columns or cards. Ensure that none of the headings or photographs are cut off. Give all three areas equal visual weight. Make the headings, images, spacing, and links consistent. Stack the choices properly on mobile. Add subtle staggered fade-ins as the visitor scrolls. “Guided by Mark” Section Rebuild this section into a balanced, professional introduction. Retain the existing photograph and approved copy. Improve the heading, text width, alignment, and spacing. Prevent testimonials from running offscreen. Present testimonials in a clean, contained format. Create a responsive mobile layout. Footer Reconstruct the footer within the proper viewing area. Make the links, tagline, button, logo, and social icons consistent. Ensure that the footer works properly on mobile. EXAMPLE 2: THE HUB PAGE Opening Section Retain the existing HUB messaging and general brand direction. Replace the current crowded layout with a strong, professional opening. Improve the contrast between the text and background graphics. Prevent decorative elements from interfering with readability. Use controlled text widths. Break the opening copy into a clear visual sequence. Add subtle scroll-triggered fade-ins. Vision Sections Retain the existing architectural renderings. Introduce the renderings deliberately instead of repeatedly presenting similar images. Correct the balance between the images and text. Use alternating image-and-copy sections where appropriate. Keep body copy at a readable width. Correct visible spacing, punctuation, and formatting problems. Create consistent spacing between ideas. “The Vision” Section Clearly distinguish this section from the opening. Improve the hierarchy of the heading, copy, architectural images, and core values. Present the core values in a visually engaging format. Avoid oversized blocks of uninterrupted text. Create a responsive mobile version. “How It Begins” Section Give the short declarations stronger visual hierarchy. Reformat the list of initial HUB activities so it is easy to scan. Correct awkward line breaks. Eliminate excessive empty space. Add restrained scroll-triggered effects. “Imagine With Me” Section Correct the awkward heading break. Make the main architectural rendering a visual centerpiece. Ensure the image is sharp, properly scaled, and responsive. Do not allow the image to extend beyond the screen. Consider allowing visitors to enlarge the detailed rendering. Core Declaration Section Give the principal declaration its own visually powerful section. Use intentional contrast, spacing, and typography. Break supporting copy into shorter, readable units. Preserve the author’s approved wording. “My Intention” Section Retain the existing photograph. Rebalance the photograph and copy. Keep the text at a comfortable reading width. Improve spacing between the short declarations. Finish with a clear HUB-specific invitation or call to action. Footer Apply the corrected global footer. Ensure the logo, copyright notice, and social icons remain within the screen. Confirm that every social link works. Create a clean mobile layout. DESIGN DIRECTION: The website should have: A strong and intentional visual hierarchy. Consistent typography throughout. Clean, controlled spacing. Readable text widths. Properly contained sections. Strategic use of photographs and visual assets. Subtle movement as content enters the screen. Smooth transitions between sections. A cohesive desktop and mobile experience. The scroll effects should resemble the restrained fade-in experience on notaperson.org. They should feel smooth and professional—not flashy, busy, or distracting. The designer must be able to work from reference websites and understand the difference between copying another company’s content and using a strong website as architectural and visual inspiration. DELIVERABLES: Review and correction of every existing page. Completion of all unfinished draft pages. Professionally designed desktop versions. Professionally designed mobile versions. Proper laptop and tablet responsiveness. Corrected global header, navigation, and footer. Consistent typography, buttons, links, colors, and spacing. Scroll-triggered fade-in effects. No horizontal overflow or cropped content. All links and buttons tested. Reasonable final correction round before completion. APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS: Please begin your proposal with the words “Wix Rescue” so I know you read the complete description. Please include: Three live Wix websites that you personally designed. An explanation of exactly what you personally did on each website. Whether each example was created in the standard Wix Editor or Wix Studio. Confirmation that you can work with an existing Wix website and unfinished draft pages. Your estimated timeline for completing the entire website. Your estimated fixed price or projected total cost. What information you need before providing a final quote. Confirmation that desktop, tablet, and mobile work are included. Confirmation that testing and a final correction round are included. Do not send a general agency portfolio. I want to communicate directly with the individual designer who will perform the work. If you represent an agency, identify the actual designer and provide that person’s portfolio. Strong visual judgment, responsive design experience, attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to follow an established creative direction are essential. SELECTION PROCESS: Qualified candidates will receive links to the live website and unpublished draft pages. Before hiring, I may request a short video call to discuss the website, the current problems, the proposed approach, the timeline, and the estimate. Please do not propose rebuilding the website on another platform. The website will remain on Wix.
