Fix API Latency Issue in Next.js / Supabase SaaS App

We have an existing SaaS application built with Next.js, TypeScript, Supabase, and PostgreSQL. One of our dashboard pages has recently become noticeably slow because the API request used to load account data is taking several seconds to complete. We are looking for an experienced full-stack developer to investigate and fix this specific latency issue. Scope: - Identify the cause of the slow API/database response - Review the related Supabase/PostgreSQL query - Check for unnecessary API calls or inefficient data fetching - Optimize the query or backend logic - Confirm that the existing functionality still works correctly - Briefly explain what caused the issue and what was changed This should be a small debugging and optimization task, so the initial budget is $20 fixed price.
