Founding Full-Stack Developer – B2B SaaS / Insurtech Workflow Platform

We are looking for an experienced full-stack developer to help build and take technical ownership of a new Australian B2B SaaS platform. The product is a web-based workflow and operations platform for a professional-services industry. We already have detailed product requirements, wireframes and a clear initial scope. The first version will be used internally within our existing business before being prepared for broader commercial release. Due to the commercial nature of the project, detailed product information will only be shared with shortlisted applicants and may be subject to an NDA. What We Need We are looking for a developer who is comfortable taking ownership of a SaaS product rather than simply completing isolated development tasks. The initial platform will involve: Multi-tenant SaaS architecture User authentication and permissions Configurable workflow management Task assignment and work queues Dashboards and management reporting Data imports and exports Audit history Email / Microsoft 365 functionality Secure cloud deployment Responsive web application development Our proposed stack includes: Next.js React TypeScript PostgreSQL Supabase Vercel GitHub We are open to recommendations from the successful developer. The Person We Are Looking For Ideally, you have previously built or significantly contributed to: B2B SaaS platforms Workflow or task-management systems CRM / practice-management software Multi-tenant applications Professional-services software Fintech, insurtech, legal-tech or similarly regulated platforms Strong database architecture and application-security experience are particularly important. Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor or GitHub Copilot is highly regarded. We actively use AI internally and want a developer who can use these tools to increase development speed without compromising architecture or code quality. Initial Engagement We expect the initial engagement to run for approximately 1–3 months, with significant potential for ongoing work. Our objective is to get the first internal version operating quickly, then progressively harden and expand the platform for commercial release. You will work directly with the founder, allowing for quick decisions and rapid feedback. All source code and development must be completed within company-controlled repositories and infrastructure, with all intellectual property created during the engagement owned by our company.
