Founding RL Environment Engineer

You will build agent environments from the real operating records of US businesses: dealerships, logistics firms, service companies. Most environments are built on invented tasks. Ours start from real work with real outcomes, such as a repair order, what the technician actually found, and whether the car came back. Vellum licenses de-identified business records on behalf of the companies that create them. You would be our first engineer dedicated to turning those records into sandboxes, tasks and graders that AI developers train and evaluate agents on.
