Fractional CTO / Technical Advisor for Growing AI Software House & Consulting Agency

Job Description: We are an established AI software development house and consulting agency managing a diverse portfolio of client projects and proprietary products (including advanced AI applications and automated platforms). While our current engineering team handles day-to-day execution well, we are looking for a high-caliber Fractional CTO / Technical Advisor to help us build a world-class engineering culture, establish proper technical structures, and elevate our team's problem-solving and architectural capabilities Key Responsibilities: Team Assessment & Mentorship: Audit our current engineering capabilities and mentor our developers to transform them into critical thinkers and elite problem solvers. Process & Architectural Governance: Establish clean engineering workflows, code review standards, CI/CD pipelines, and robust architectural best practices across our Python, modern frontend, and cloud stacks. Hiring & Vetting Framework: Design a rigorous technical interview and vetting process to help us identify and recruit top-tier A-player engineering talent. Technical Oversight for Consulting & Products: Provide high-level architectural guidance across our diverse software development projects and client deliverables. Requirements: Proven experience as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or Principal Architect in a software agency or product studio environment. Strong background in building, scaling, and structuring high-performing engineering teams from the ground up. Broad technical depth across modern software stacks (Python, modern web frameworks, cloud infrastructure, and AI/LLM integration workflows). Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to coach mid-level developers into high-ownership engineers.
