About Akerio. Akerio is a UK-based applied AI company. We build platforms that turn messy enterprise data into scored, auditable recommendations: the next diesel price for one of Europe's largest independent fuel distributors, a risk flag on a tenant across 41 shopping centres, a credit score a bank's committee can trace back to the source record. Our models are built by a PhD team from Stanford and the University of Chicago, every output shows what drove it and how confident it is, and the platform runs on-premise or in the cloud. We are live in production across energy, commercial real estate and financial services, with 18 AI modules running in one deployment alone. We are a small team shipping to demanding enterprise clients, so the work you do reaches production and gets used. • Job: Full time • Job type: Remote The role A mall asset manager opens our platform before the monthly review to see which tenants are slipping, how footfall compares to forecast, and where costs ran over. If a widget is slow, a filter resets, or a chart axis misleads, they go back to Excel. Your job is to make sure they don't. You build the React screens across 49 dashboard widgets and the AI assistant that explains them, working from Figma designs and real user feedback that lands in Jira every week. What you will work on • Dashboard widgets for leasing, finance, budget and visitor analytics: time-series charts, forecast versus actual, week and month pickers, export to Excel. • The customizable home dashboard: add, drag, resize and remove widgets with React Grid Layout, with widget filters kept in the URL and in Zustand. • AI features: chat, quick summaries and per-widget AI commentary built with AI Elements, isolated cleanly from our MUI and Tailwind styles. • Full Turkish and English support, including number, currency and date formats. • Turning Figma designs into reusable components, and pushing back when a design breaks on real data. • Code health: consistent ESLint and Prettier rules, dependency upgrades, and a frontend test setup we are building now. Our stack Area What we use Core React, TypeScript, Vite, React Router UI MUI, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, AI Elements State and data Zustand, axios, REST APIs from NestJS services Charts and layout ApexCharts, React Grid Layout Quality ESLint, Prettier, Trivy dependency scans; component and end-to-end tests being added How we build Figma, Jira, Bitbucket, spec-first work with AI coding tools (Claude Code), code review on every PR Your first six months • First month: first pull request merged in week one, then one widget shipped to production. • Month three: you own a product area (for example visitor analytics) including its components and its tests. • Month six: you lead UI decisions for a new module, from Figma review to release. What you bring Junior (0 to 2 years): • Solid JavaScript and TypeScript, and React you have used on something real. • HTML and CSS done properly: semantic markup, responsive layouts, basic accessibility. • A portfolio, a GitHub profile or a live project we can click through. Mid (2 to 4 years): • Production React and TypeScript, ideally with MUI or a similar component library. • You have built data-heavy screens: charts, big tables, filters, and you know how to keep them fast. • State management that scales past one page (Zustand, Redux or similar) and URL-driven state. • You write component and end-to-end tests without being asked. Both levels: clear written English, care for the person using the screen, and comfort with AI coding tools while still understanding every line you ship. Turkish is a plus. Nice to have • Experience with dashboards or B2B tools in real estate, retail or finance. • UIs on top of LLM output: streaming, citations, tool results. • Internationalisation beyond translated strings. • Basic Node.js, enough to read the NestJS endpoint you call. How we work You hear the user's problem before you see the ticket. We write the spec first, review every pull request, and demo to clients often, so you will see your screens in use. Hiring process 7. 30-minute intro call. 8. 30-minute session: present your case to the CPO and an engineer. 9. 15-minute call with a founder. What we offer • Fully remote, with overlap on UK and Türkiye working hours.
