Preferred qualifications

  • Experience: Expert
We are looking for an experienced full-stack developer to help us troubleshoot and fix a few issues in our web application. The application uses Next.js, TypeScript, and a PHP/Laravel backend. One of the pages is generally working, but we're experiencing some performance issues and inconsistent behavior during user interactions. The task will involve: * Reviewing the existing Next.js/TypeScript code * Identifying the cause of the performance and behavior issues * Making the necessary frontend or backend improvements * Fixing the reported issues without affecting existing functionality * Testing the changes thoroughly in our staging environment This is a relatively small project. We can provide repository access, staging access, and steps to reproduce the issues. We're looking for someone who can work independently, communicate clearly, and provide a brief explanation of the changes made. Estimated duration: 2–3 days When applying, please briefly describe how you would approach troubleshooting a performance issue in a Next.js application and, if possible, mention a similar issue you've worked on before.
