Full-Stack Developer (NestJS + Next.js + Stripe) to Finish & Scale Tutoring Marketplace

We're building Insynea, an online marketplace for private lessons in Brazil. Students find teachers, book a time slot, and pay up front by card, Pix, or boleto. Payments are held in escrow until the class is completed, then split between the teacher and the platform through Stripe Connect. The product is already well along. Working today: authentication with email verification, student and teacher onboarding, teacher search and profiles, availability and slot booking, checkout (card / Pix / boleto), escrow and payouts, refunds and cancellation policy, dashboards for teachers and students, ratings, and notifications. We're looking for an experienced developer to help us finish the remaining pieces and get the platform production-ready. Tech stack - Backend: NestJS 11, TypeScript, JWT auth (Passport), Supabase (Postgres + Storage), Stripe SDK, scheduled jobs - Frontend: Next.js 16 (App Router), React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind v4, next-intl (pt-BR and English), Stripe Elements - Hosting: Vercel (frontend), Render (backend), Supabase (database) What you'll work on - Admin tooling: build the admin UI for teacher approval and invitations (the database already supports it) - Replace mock data in some dashboard views with real API data - Implement real push notifications (currently a logging stub) - Complete the credit purchase flow - Add test coverage: unit tests for key services (payments, bookings, escrow) and end-to-end tests for the booking and checkout flow - Bug fixes, code review, and general improvements to stability and security before launch Required skills - Strong TypeScript, with real production experience in NestJS and Next.js (App Router) - Stripe integration experience, ideally including Stripe Connect, webhooks, and refunds - PostgreSQL, preferably with Supabase - Writing automated tests (Jest; Playwright or Cypress for e2e) - Clean, well-structured code and clear communication
