Full-Stack Engineer – Developer Dashboard & API Integrations

!! United States (Remote) !! Overview Looking for an experienced Full-Stack Engineer to improve a developer-facing platform that helps users integrate APIs, configure applications, and monitor usage. The goal is to make the developer journey—from initial setup to a successful production integration—simple, intuitive, and reliable. You will work across frontend and backend systems, building dashboard features, improving onboarding workflows, and using user feedback and product data to guide improvements. Responsibilities - Dashboard Development: Build and improve interfaces that help developers manage API integrations, monitor usage, and configure their applications. - Onboarding Optimization: Simplify workflows for account setup, API key generation, initial configuration, and successful integration. - API & Backend Development: Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations that support a seamless developer experience. - Product Experimentation: Implement and evaluate experiments to improve onboarding completion, API key creation, activation, and self-service subscription conversion. - UX Improvements: Translate user feedback and product insights into intuitive, reliable, and accessible product experiences. - End-to-End Ownership: Take features from requirements and technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, and iteration. - Collaboration: Work closely with product and engineering stakeholders to prioritize improvements and deliver measurable results. Required Skills & Experience - Strong full-stack development experience, with particular expertise in frontend engineering. - Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, or similar technologies. - Experience developing backend services, REST APIs, and third-party integrations. - Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and the ability to simplify complex technical workflows. - Experience building developer-facing products, API dashboards, SaaS platforms, or onboarding experiences. - Familiarity with product analytics, A/B testing, and data-driven product improvement. - Ability to independently manage tasks and deliver production-ready features. - Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications - Experience building API management dashboards, developer portals, or self-service SaaS products. - Experience optimizing user activation, conversion funnels, and onboarding journeys. - Familiarity with authentication, API keys, usage metering, and subscription workflows. - Experience with cloud deployments, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines. - Previous experience mentoring engineers or taking technical ownership of projects. Experience with generative audio or voice AI is not required. Experience working with AI-powered APIs or developer tools is beneficial.
