About Suave Real Estate Services Suave Real Estate Services is a growing Los Angeles-based real estate company made up of two core businesses: Suave Management focuses on long-term residential property management, helping property owners operate their investments while creating a better experience for the people who live in the homes we manage. Suave Real Estate works with buyers, sellers, and real estate investors throughout Los Angeles, helping clients acquire, sell, and evaluate real estate opportunities. Our larger vision is to create a connected real estate ecosystem where technology makes owning, managing, buying, selling, and investing in real estate significantly easier. We believe people deserve a better real estate experience — whether they're looking for a place to live, purchasing an investment property, selling an asset, or trusting someone to manage their property. Technology is going to play a major role in making that vision a reality. What We're Looking For We're looking for a Full-Stack Developer with web and mobile development experience to join us on a long-term, part-time contract basis. You'll work alongside our existing development team to improve current Suave platforms while also helping us design and build entirely new products. This isn't a role where you'll simply receive tickets and write code. We want someone who enjoys understanding why something is being built, thinking through the user experience, suggesting better approaches, and helping turn ideas into polished products. Some of What You'll Help Build One of our major initiatives is continuing to improve Suave OS, our internal operating system used to help run different parts of the company. We're also developing technology for the Suave Real Estate side of the business. For example, imagine three friends forming an investment group and looking to purchase an apartment building together. Instead of communicating through scattered emails, text messages, spreadsheets, and PDFs, each member could have their own login to a shared Suave platform. Inside their workspace, they could: Review properties our team sends them View purchase prices, projected rents, expenses, cap rates, and other investment metrics Compare potential investments Save and organize properties Comment and communicate with the other members of their investment group Communicate directly with our team Review documents and property information Track where each opportunity is within the acquisition process Eventually sign documents electronically Access everything through both web and mobile applications Our internal team would simultaneously have a broader view that allows us to manage multiple clients, investment groups, properties, transactions, and workflows. That's one example of the types of products we're building. There will be many more. What You'll Be Doing You'll help with areas such as: Full-stack web development Mobile application development Building and improving internal company software Developing client-facing portals and applications Designing databases and application architecture Authentication, user accounts, roles, and permissions Building collaborative workspaces APIs and third-party integrations Financial and real estate calculation tools Messaging and notification systems Document and e-signature integrations UI/UX implementation Debugging and improving existing products Helping turn business ideas into technical solutions Collaborating closely with our existing development team Our current technology ecosystem includes tools such as Supabase and Vercel, and we're continuing to expand the stack as our products grow. The Type of Developer We'd Love to Work With We're especially interested in someone who: Can work across both front-end and back-end development Has experience building modern web applications Has experience with mobile apps or cross-platform mobile development Understands databases, APIs, authentication, and permissions Has a strong eye for clean UI and user experience Can take an idea and help determine the best way to build it Communicates clearly with other developers and non-technical team members Is comfortable working independently Pays attention to details Cares about quality while still being able to move quickly Wants to continuously learn Is interested in a potentially multi-year working relationship Real estate experience is helpful but not required. We can teach you the real estate side. Schedule & Compensation This is a long-term contract position. Expected commitment: approximately 20 hours per week Compensation: $250 USD per month Location: Remote Time zone: Flexible We're looking for someone interested in consistency and a long-term relationship rather than a short one-off development project. Why Join Us? We're still early. That means you'll have an opportunity to help shape products rather than simply maintain something someone else already built. Our goal is to build a technology ecosystem that eventually connects many parts of the real estate experience under one company. As Suave Real Estate Services grows, we want the technology — and the people helping us build it — to grow alongside it. If you enjoy building products from the ground up, solving real business problems, and want to contribute to a larger long-term vision, we'd love to hear from you.
