NDAX is expanding its blockchain technology capabilities and seeks talented engineers to develop secure, scalable, and reliable digital asset infrastructure. About the Role We are looking for a Full Stack Blockchain Developer to contribute to the development and improvement of our cryptocurrency and staking platform. You will work across frontend applications, backend services, and blockchain integrations, helping deliver reliable staking experiences for users. The ideal candidate has practical experience with Ethereum smart contracts, Solidity, modern JavaScript frameworks, and blockchain infrastructure. Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain blockchain-powered applications and services. - Develop and test Ethereum smart contracts using Solidity. - Build responsive frontend interfaces for cryptocurrency trading and staking applications. - Develop backend APIs and services supporting staking operations, rewards calculations, and transaction processing. - Integrate blockchain networks, wallets, and third-party validator infrastructure. - Implement staking workflows, including staking subscriptions, reward tracking, and unstaking operations. - Improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and security. - Write unit tests, integration tests, and automated testing pipelines. - Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture decisions. - Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues. Required Qualifications - Professional software engineering experience. - At least 1 year of practical Solidity development experience. - Strong understanding of Ethereum, smart contracts, and blockchain fundamentals. - Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript. - Experience developing backend services using Node.js, Go, or Python. - Familiarity with React, Angular, Vue.js, or similar frontend frameworks. - Experience with Web3.js, ethers.js, or equivalent blockchain libraries. - Understanding of REST APIs, database systems, and distributed applications. - Familiarity with Git, Docker, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure. - Strong understanding of smart contract security and common vulnerabilities. Preferred Qualifications - Experience building cryptocurrency exchanges or staking applications. - Understanding of Proof-of-Stake consensus mechanisms. - Experience integrating Ethereum, Solana, Cosmos, or other blockchain networks. - Knowledge of staking rewards, validator integrations, bonding, and unbonding mechanisms. - Experience with OpenZeppelin, Hardhat, Foundry, or Truffle. - Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or DigitalOcean. - Experience with high-availability financial applications. First 90-Day Objectives First 30 Days - Understand NDAX's existing blockchain infrastructure and application architecture. - Become familiar with the existing staking workflows and blockchain integrations. - Review the current frontend, backend services, and smart contract integrations. Days 31–60 - Contribute to staking application improvements and blockchain integrations. - Improve API performance and transaction-processing reliability. - Implement automated tests and improve monitoring and documentation. Days 61–90 - Independently deliver a scoped frontend, backend, or blockchain feature. - Improve staking workflow reliability and application performance. - Contribute to engineering architecture and security improvements.
