Intellectually curious + technical person with solid pandas, writing & speaking skills

Exciting opportunity for the right person to work with 2 entrepreneurial and technical founders on a project in the renewable energy space. Your first task will be to lead assessment of a commercial product. We are trying to determine whether this product fulfills what our clients would want, to decide whether we just buy or build ourselves. You will be working with a lot of data and learning a lot from us. We are looking for a very specific type of person for this role: - Very good writing skills. And I mean naturally, with no AI. - Clear communication in English. Accents are fine, hard-to-understand ones are not - Technical. You need to be comfortable with physics concepts or be willing to learn. Knowledge of electrical concepts an added bonus, but again, we will teach what you don't know. - You can code in Python and Pandas, to at least a basic level. Again, without AI, the old-fashioned way. - Comfortable with Excel. - You are intellectually curious. Our project is very technical and gets into the weeds. If you aren't interested in learning, then this project will be very difficult. We like working with contractors long-term. The last contractor we worked with eventually wound up getting a full-time job with one of our business contacts. Please write what would make you a good fit for this, citing your past experience. The first phase will be a 15-20 minute conversation. The second phase will be a coding test that approximates the type of analysis that you may have to do.
