Mid-Level Laravel Developer — HR/Payroll system (Remote)

We are looking for a Mid-Level Laravel Developer who has already built, or worked on, a labor/payroll system, ideally for Spain, France, Portugal, Germany or Italy. What we need you to bring: - 2+ years of real experience with PHP and Laravel. - Experience building payroll, HR, or labor-law systems. Spanish payroll/Seguridad Social is strongly preferred. - Experience modelling rule-heavy domains: date-effective rates, per-contract and per-collective-agreement rules, audit trails, reversible changes. - Good SQL knowledge (PostgreSQL or MySQL) and solid OOP principles. - Experience with Laravel queues and jobs, PDF/document generation, and file import/export (CSV, Excel, fixed-width or XML files). - Automated testing (PHPUnit or Pest). Payroll calculations must be proven with test cases. - Git for version control. We expect you to use AI tools to code faster and smarter. We embrace it, and we don’t hide it. Bonus points if you know: - Filament, Livewire, or Alpine.js. - PHPUnit for automated testing. - Multi-tenant SaaS experience.
