I already have an existing application built with Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, React, and the OpenAI API. **What I'm trying to achieve:** I want the AI assistant to have natural conversations while intelligently using information already stored in my application. I need help connecting these components properly using OpenAI Responses API, function calling, and good conversation management. I'm not looking to rebuild everything or introduce a complicated new architecture.
