Next.js Developer for AI-Powered Web Application

We are looking for a Next.js developer to help us improve an existing AI-powered web application. The application allows users to submit text and receive an AI-generated response. The main functionality is already working, but we are seeing some inconsistent behavior during the AI processing step. In some cases, the loading state does not update correctly, and occasionally the response takes longer than expected to appear. The frontend is built with Next.js and TypeScript, with a backend API handling the AI model requests. The task will involve reviewing the existing implementation, reproducing the issue, checking the AI request/response flow, and making the necessary frontend improvements. We can provide access to the GitHub repository and a staging environment. We would also like to have a short screen-sharing call so we can demonstrate the issue and explain the expected behavior. The developer should be comfortable working with Next.js, TypeScript, API integration, asynchronous processing, and debugging existing applications.
