Budget: - HOURLY / FULL_TIME ⭐ 4.96 (41) Switzerland

postgresql, next.js, linux-system-administration

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience: Expert
I run a small real-estate company in Spain (buyer-side agent for foreign buyers). Claude Code builds and operates almost everything for us. I am not a developer. I need an experienced developer who works with Claude Code every day AND has already assembled and shipped exactly this kind of stack. You will guide, review and unblock the work, not replace it. THE PROJECT A property catalogue website (moresun.estate). About 20,000 listings now, up to 100,000 within a year, 21 photos per listing. German and English, Dutch and French later. Listings come from an MLS XML feed (nightly, bound to a fixed IP) and from our own PostgreSQL database in Supabase. Leads go to GoHighLevel. Later: Rightmove feed export and AI search ("describe your dream home"). STACK (decided, not up for debate) - Next.js 16 on Vercel - Supabase Postgres as the single source of truth (full text search, PostGIS, later pgvector) - A small Linux VPS with a fixed IP for importers and photo processing (Python or Node, systemd timers) - Cloudflare R2 for photos, Cloudflare DNS WHAT YOU WILL DO - Set up the project skeleton, Vercel deploys, environments, preview URLs and rollback. - Review the code Claude Code writes, fix what it gets wrong, keep security patches current. - Build the importer pipeline (MLS XML feed, idempotent upserts) and the photo pipeline (resize variants, upload to R2). - Design the Postgres schema, indexes, materialised views and search. - Teach me the few things I must click myself (accounts, billing, DNS) and write short runbooks Claude Code can follow. HARD REQUIREMENTS 1. Daily, hands-on Claude Code experience: CLAUDE.md, skills, hooks, subagents, MCP servers. You will show me a real example of how you use it. 2. You have personally built and shipped a production site on Next.js + Supabase (or Postgres) + Vercel, with background jobs on a Linux server. Not tutorials. A live URL or repo you can talk about. 3. 3+ years with Next.js and PostgreSQL in production. 4. Linux basics: systemd, cron, SSH hardening, backups, rclone. 5. Clear written English. German is a plus. Real-estate feeds (MLS, XML, Kyero) are a plus. ENGAGEMENT Hourly, 5 to 15 hours per week, start this week. First milestone: live site with MLS listings and a working deploy pipeline within 2 weeks. Long-term if it works well. HOW TO APPLY (5 lines, no cover letter) 1. One production project you shipped with Next.js + Postgres (URL or repo). 2. One concrete example of how you use Claude Code in your daily work. 3. Your time zone and weekly availability. 4. Your hourly rate. 5. Start your reply with the word SUNRISE so I know you read this. Applications without the Claude Code example will not be read.
