Next.js/Vercel Developer to Audit, Complete & Launch Existing Website

We are an established 32-resident memory-care community in Central Texas. A designer/developer has created a new Next.js/Vercel website that may be purchased and handed over as source code, content, a redirect map and written documentation. Before we purchase it, we need an independent expert to determine whether the site is technically sound, maintainable and reasonably priced to complete and launch. This is a developer engagement, not an advertising-management position. FIRST PAID MILESTONE — INDEPENDENT ASSESSMENT Review the available website preview, proposed deliverables and handoff materials. If code access is available, inspect the repository. Provide a concise written report covering: • Whether the site appears complete, deployable and maintainable • Missing work, technical risks, dependencies and licensing concerns • Whether another qualified Next.js developer can maintain it without the original creator • Estimated hours and a fixed or capped price to complete and launch it • A clear recommendation: purchase, renegotiate or walk away We expect the initial assessment to take approximately 3–5 paid hours. Do not perform additional work without written approval. IF WE PURCHASE THE SITE The next phase may include: • Audit and take ownership of the complete source repository • Move the code into client-owned GitHub and Vercel accounts • Configure hosting, environment variables, backups and deployment • Connect the domain without disrupting business email • Test and complete all forms and immediate email notifications • Configure GA4, Google Tag Manager, Search Console and conversion events • Install and test call-tracking code supplied by our advertising provider • Coordinate a technical handoff with the advertising provider • Implement and verify the redirect map for the existing pages and article library • Preserve SEO, metadata, sitemap, internal links and indexing • Test mobile responsiveness, speed, accessibility, broken links and browser compatibility • Recommend or implement a practical CMS such as Sanity for routine text, photograph, pricing and article changes • Provide complete documentation and a short training/handoff session • Provide a defined post-launch defect period The website must ultimately generate and track inquiries reliably, but direct CRM integration and any advanced booking system should be identified and quoted separately rather than assumed. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE • Demonstrated production experience with Next.js, React and Vercel • Taking over and launching code written by another developer • GitHub repositories, deployment pipelines and environment configuration • Website forms, email delivery, GA4, GTM and conversion tracking • SEO migrations, 301 redirects, Search Console and content-heavy sites • Headless CMS experience, preferably Sanity or Contentful • Excellent spoken and written English • Meaningful overlap with U.S. Central Time All source code, hosting, domains, analytics, data and accounts must remain under client ownership and administrative control.
