I have a schematic, BOM, and PCB design files for a 4-pump nutrient dosing control board that I created using AI. I need an experienced electrical engineer to review the work and help improve it so it is ready for fabrication. The project involves a multi-layer control board, and I’m looking for someone who can identify issues, suggest improvements, and ensure the design is reliable and manufacturable.
The design is open-source under a CERN hardware license and published on Github. I have hopefully done a lot of the work, but my experience is not good enough to be certain things are good. I need someone experienced to help scrape off the remaining slop that I'm not skilled enough to identify. https://github.com/dephekt/dosing-pump-hardware
The pumps are the Atlas Scientific EZO PMP embedded peristaltic dosing pumps. The board is meant to dose multiple stages of nutrients into a hydroponic reservoir via ESPHome.
The pumps are UART/I2C logic, 3v3-5.5V, and 12-24V DC power for their motor. The driver circuitry I believe already is on the pumps, so I think the PCB only needs to provide clean power to the pumps, the esp32 and the I2C multiplexer. The multiplexer is so I don't have to provision unique addresses for each pump. The project is done so far in Kicad 10 and Freerouting and generated mostly deterministically w/ python scripts. But you can work directly in Kicad to do whatever is needed.
