AI AUTOMATION & INTEGRATION ENGINEER PAID SCOPING SESSION | 2–4 HOURS | $50–$90/HR ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ OVERVIEW ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ I'm an entrepreneur researching opportunities to build AI-native software and intelligent automation for local businesses in Dallas-Fort Worth. I'm seeking an experienced AI Automation & Integration Engineer for an initial PAID SCOPING SESSION, with the potential for ongoing prototype development and engineering work. I've been interviewing business owners across real estate, financial services, and other industries to identify recurring operational problems and opportunities for AI-powered automation. I've documented several workflows but haven't committed to a specific build yet. THE GOAL: Review a real business workflow, assess technical feasibility, identify integrations, and develop a practical implementation plan. DELIVERABLE: A 1–2-page technical scope with recommended architecture, tools, risks, development phases, and cost estimates. TECHNICAL EXPERTISE ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • AI agents, LLM APIs, tool calling, and orchestration • REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, MCP, and integrations • n8n, Make, Zapier, and custom Python/TypeScript • CRM, email, spreadsheets, and legacy business software • Document extraction and database integrations • Error handling, retries, monitoring, and human approvals • Bonus: Twilio, SMS, and AI voice assistants INITIAL PAID ENGAGEMENT ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 1. WORKFLOW REVIEW (30–60 MINUTES) Review a documented business workflow, including current processes, software systems, pain points, and desired outcomes. 2. WORKING SESSION (60 MINUTES) Meet live to discuss technical feasibility, assumptions, integration requirements, limitations, and implementation options. 3. WRITTEN TECHNICAL SCOPE (1–2 PAGES) Deliver a practical assessment covering: • Proposed architecture and data flow • Recommended technology stack and rationale • Integration requirements, dependencies, and risks • Human review points and reliability considerations • Metrics for measuring business outcomes • Phased build plan, timeline, and cost estimates The objective is not to design an entire production system upfront. It's to understand what can realistically be built and what it would take to validate the opportunity. IDEAL CANDIDATE ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • Has personally built and deployed AI automations used by real businesses • Strong API integration and backend engineering experience • Understands low-code versus custom software tradeoffs • Comfortable working with incomplete requirements • Identifies technical risks rather than overpromising • Communicates clearly with nontechnical founders • Prioritizes practical, reliable solutions LONG-TERM OPPORTUNITY I'm building toward a pipeline of AI-native automation projects for local businesses. This initial paid scoping session is an opportunity to evaluate how we work together. A successful engagement could lead to prototype development, production implementations, and recurring engineering projects. I'm looking for a dependable technical partner who enjoys turning complex business workflows into useful, intelligent software.
